About the event
Purl Joy’s two-week class will help you build the foundational skills and confidence to progress beyond your first project and achieve your knitting dreams. Beginning with an introduction to knitting, including an overview of yarn, needles and other tools, you will master knits, purls, and other core skills. Working in class and at home, you will complete a dishcloth as your first project.
If you have never knit before, or it’s been years and you want to get back to it, this class is for you. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
This class will teach the following skills:
Casting on
The knit and purl stitches
Yarn Over increase
