Cashmere 6/28
Pascauli's Cahmere 6/28 is an exceptionally high-quality and exclusive yarn made from pure cashmere. With its Fine/Sport weight, it's perfectly suited for a wide variety of projects.
Pascauli uses only the soft, combed undercoat of cashmere goats. The fibers come from goats raised in the highlands of Mongolia. The yarn is spun and dyed in Italy – specifically at the renowned Cariaggi spinning mill. Cariaggi produces some of the world’s finest yarns for leading luxury fashion houses and adheres to the highest quality standards.
Cashmere Lace is put up in 25g balls of 112 meters / 122 yards.
The company is also deeply committed to environmental protection and holds multiple certifications, including RAF (Responsible Animal Fiber) and SFA (Sustainable Fibre Alliance). The fiber and production of Cashmere Lace are SFA-certified.This means both the origin of the cashmere fiber and its processing at the mill comply with strict environmental, animal welfare, and social responsibility standards. The SFA advocates for sustainable grazing, fair labor conditions, and respectful treatment of animals.
You’ll feel the exceptional quality of Cashmere Lace from the very first stitch. Pascaul's ultra-fine cashmere fibers measure only 15.5 microns. The fibers are carefully inspected before spinning, then dyed, washed, steamed, and subjected to rigorous quality checks – including tests for pilling and colorfastness.
This yarn is 6-ply twisted, making it smooth and easy to work with. It produces an even, elegant stitch definition and suits all types of patterns. Even in simple stockinette stitch, it looks refined and luxurious. Thanks to the fine and long fibers, it has a gentle halo and is significantly less prone to pilling than many other cashmere yarns.
Cashmere 6/28 is the perfect choice for lightweight yet warm sweaters, cardigans, and luxurious accessories such as scarves and hats. It is cozy, feather-light, and incredibly soft on the skin – even for those with sensitivities.
